Speaker Highlights. 🎙

Frances Wilson is Associate Director and Head of Product Operations for Hearst Newspapers. Hearst Newspapers is dedicated to supporting local journalism across the United States with over 70 local news publications. Prior to her current position in media, Frances worked across numerous industries and a variety of companies including both nonprofit and for-profit. Throughout her diverse career, the thread that has tied her work together is her love for solving business challenges and optimizing how we work. Frances is originally from Vermont and has been in NYC for the last 10 years.


Shashank Bharath is Senior Product Operations Manager for Pinterest. Shashank has over 12 years experience working for tech giants within the product landscape.


Joycelyn is a Senior Product Operations Manager at Airbnb, where she helps Hosts navigate their regulatory responsibilities and regulators manage rental activities in their jurisdictions. Before joining this team, she worked on Airbnb's public policy issues in the Asia Pacific region. In a previous life, she ran programs and research at organizations like the US-Asia Institute and the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Joycelyn is a proud graduate of the University of National Champions (aka UNC Chapel Hill), and you will likely spot her in her Carolina blue gear from January to March when the Tar Heels take over the basketball court. Outside of work and cheering on the Tar Heels, she spends her free time playing tennis, traveling, or checking out new restaurants and bars.
