Hello, my name is Kris Barton and I’m the Chief Product Officer at Gannett.

What will you be discussing at the upcoming CPO Summit?

I'll be part of a panel called Variety is the Spice of Life, where we'll be discussing how we can build different products and services for different audiences, using and leveraging different approaches to get the best output possible.

What nugget of wisdom are you hoping to leave attendees with after your talk?

One of the things that I'll hope to get across in the discussion is how we can continue to learn and evolve, while not over complicating our approach. We really need to keep things simple. It's the best way to communicate and convey our ideas.

Why do you think it’s important for CPOs to share their insights, challenges, and strategies?

Well, we're ultimately building products and services for others, not just ourselves. So it's important for us all to share ideas and understand different ways of thinking of how we can openly build better products and solutions.
